On Saturday 8th October, we will be inviting fans to bring food to the game to be donated to a local foodbank.

Loughborough Dynamo Football Club will be a food drop off point for a local foodbank on Saturday 8th October.

On that day we take on Worksop Town in the Third Qualifying Round of the Isuzu FA Trophy and we are encouraging as many supporters as possible to bring some food that can be donated to our local foodbank.

All food that we collect will be taken to the Loughborough Area Food Bank based on De Montfort Close by some members of their staff who have been invited to the game and will be in attendance.

Over 90% of food donated to a Trussell Trust foodbank is donated by the public and so they really do rely on donations. As a club, with the cost of living crisis getting worse, we wanted to do our bit to help them out.

Items that can be donated to a foodbank include: pasta, rice, tinned vegetables, tinned potatoes, tinned tomato’s, soup, cereal, tea, coffee, hygiene products and more.

For more information on the work of the Loughborough Area Food Bank visit here https://loughborougharea.foodbank.org.uk

Please spread the word and we hope to have a good amount of food for the foodbank to use!
