Volunteers are the lifeblood of Non-League Football. Without them, most non-league football clubs would struggle to function. At Loughborough Dynamo, we have a great group of committed volunteers. As a thank you to them, we will feature one LDFC volunteer ahead of every home game in 2022, on our website, social media and in our matchday programme. And hopefully it will encourage you to get involved with your local non-league club too.

This week’s Volunteer of the Week is Keith Milner. Keith has worked in football most of his life and even spent 20 years working for Premier League and Championship clubs. Keith has a lot of football experience, and he volunteers by hosting our hospitality guests in the boardroom at every home game with Sue Pugh.

Keith has previously worked at clubs such as Gresley Rovers ranging right up to Southampton and Blackburn Rovers.

Keith has been at the club for a number of years and says he often prefers non-league football to the Premier League!

He said: “Joining Loughborough is one of the best things I have done in football. Some great people run the club and we have very loyal supporters. My favourite thing about working at the club is that everyone is so friendly, and I was made very welcome from Day One.

“Running a club at non-league level is very hard work and clubs like Loughborough Dynamo rely on volunteers. I have gone from non-league to the Premier League and back again and some of my happiest times have been in non-league. To anyone thinking of volunteering definitely do it as you will enjoy it!”

Keith is always up for a chat so if you see him around do say hello as he would be happy to talk to you!
