Perhaps it was the introduction of new signing Nathan Watson, or the return of Carl Sibson, Rob Norris and Dan Marshall but Dynamo started the game at a pace.

Craving out a chance in the 9th minute when Bruno Holden cut in from the right but home keeper Gary Hateley held the shot at the second attempt. Four minutes later Nathan Watson fed Rob Norris who beat his man but his shot from 30 yards was saved by Hateley. The contrast in style was evident; Dynamo looking to play the passing game whilst Eastwood preferred the long ball approach. There was an exchange of half chances as both sides looked for a goal but the game changed in the 26th minute. Bruno Holden controlled a clearance and volleyed the ball into the net, via the inside of the post from fully 20 yards out. The reporter had not finished recording the wonder goal when the same player slammed in another unstoppable shot from even further out to put Dynamo two goals up. 5 minutes later, following another good flowing move, Holden advanced on Hateley but his chip went wide. The contrast in style continued and it made for an interesting game; no clear chance was created but the half ended with a good move from Eastwood which saw Liam Garner fire in a hard shot which Kahil Mann-Kler saved to preserve the visitors' lead.

Nobody was prepared for what was to follow!

From the kick off Nathan Watson looked up and, from one stride inside the visitor's half fired in a shot which dipped under the crossbar and into the net despite the best efforts of Hateley in goal. Truly a wonder goal and 3-0! Eastwood did not buckle and they came at Dynamo but were restricted to long range efforts, however on 58 minutes Dynamo were grateful for the instincts of keeper Mann-Kler as the defence gifted the ball to Kieran Wells, Mann-Kler was quick off his line and blocked the shot and the chance was gone. Dynamo then produced a burst of quality football to carve out chances, in 61 minutes Norris won the ball and laid it into the path of Ryan Tinsley but Hateley produced a great save to deflect the ball to safety. Norris himself then had two chances worked by sharp passing out of defence but twice in 7 minutes he shot over the bar from 20 yards. Eastwood pressed again; Tristram Whitman looked lively and Mann-Kler had to come and catch a dangerous cross from Whitman before Whitman volleyed over from10 yards out in the 74th minute. Dynamo's defence was coping with Sibson particularly calm under pressure but they were breached on 89 minutes as a long ball saw Shannon Grant beat Mann-Kler to the ball and he clipped a neat shot inside the near post to beat the covering defenders making 3-1 and offering some consolation for the home team. As the ref blew for time Dynamo were a tad disappointed to concede, but this win contained three wonder goals, a solid defensive display and, at times, a very high quality midfield performance.

Nobody is getting carried away but there are still 4 first team players out injured, the squad looks to have real quality and we climb to tenth in the chart and are looking forward to the next game!
