Derby fielded a side combing members of their under 18 and under 21 squads, two members of the first team squad and a triallist from Portugese Champions Benfica. The side was managed by former Nottingham Forest player Lee Glover.
Dynamo went into half time trailing 1-0, but two second half goals from defenders Joe Pheasant and new signing Mason Holwell gave Dynamo a deserved 2-1 victory.
After the match Dynamo manager Tom Brookbanks said "I was really pleased with today's performance against a very good Derby County side.
"I was particularly happy in that we showed strong character to come from behind to win the game.
"Also our fitness looked excellent on one of the hottest days of the year against a very young fit side".
Dynamo's final two home friendlies in the run in to the 2014-15 season are tomorrow, Tuesday July 26th, 7.45 pm kickoff, against Northern Premier League Premier Division Stamford, and on Saturday July 29th, 3.00 pm kickoff, against the Burton Albion Academy side.
