Dynamo hit six in second half romp.

The Luffs started well and Steve McCullough shot wide before Gibbons was called upon to make an excellent save from Ben Walton. Later in the half Gibbons again saved from Paul O’Callaghan before the Luffs keeper Kevin Fluede saved well from Luke Edwards. Ash Way skied one over the bar to end a goaless first period.

Dynamo scored within a minute of the interval break when Richard Lonsdale was tripped by Luffs skipper Sean O’ Callaghan in the area and he got up to dispatch the resulting penalty with ease.

It was all Dynamo during this second period and when Jack Roberts put Edwards through on goal the striker calmly skipped round Fluede and rolled the ball into the empty net. The striker then missed a sitter when clean through and Lonsdale hit the upright after good work by Way. Way then set up Edwards for his second and Dynamo’s third and with The Luffs players visibly tiring Way side stepped two challenges before planting a firm right foot shot into the bottom corner on 68 mins. A minute later a neat one-two between Way and Lester put the latter through on goal and the full back made no mistake from 12yds. Dynamo rounded up the scoring on 85 mins when again Ash Way was the architect, weaving past defenders to deliver the perfect cross for Danny Jenno to head home and book their semi final tie against nearest neighbours F.C. Dynamo.
