Loughborough Dynamo battled their way to a point in a 0-0 draw at home to Gresley.
Thanks to Lewis King in the Dynamo goal who again had to be called upon to make some good saves, Dynamo picked up their seventh clean sheet in 13 league games this season.
There was also a debut for former Nottingham Forest midfielder Lewis McGugan who came on for the last 15 minutes.
Dynamo’s closest effort came after just five minutes when James Tague forced a diving save out of the Gresley keeper from a shot from range.
15 minutes into the game, Gresley should really have been ahead as Kane Lee was played through on goal but Lewis King did well to get out and make a good save at his feet.
After that the chances dried up for Dynamo and they struggled to create anything of any real quality.
Dynamo were convinced in the second half that they should have had two clear penalties after Kevin Bastos went down in the box twice but the referee didn’t agree.
Gresley hit the post from a free kick 15 minutes from the end which was the closest either side came to scoring but in truth the game lacked quality and it never really felt like a goal was on the way.
