Our match report from our game with Coleshill

Three goals in the final 15 minutes saw Loughborough Dynamo lose 3-1 away at Coleshill.

A stunning goal from outside the area on the hour mark from Ollie Clark gave Dynamo hope of a first away win in nine games.

But a red card in the 74th minute for defender Callum Cocks as he punched the ball off the line was the catalyst for Coleshill to score three goals in 15 minutes and take all three points.

The first half was a lively and entertaining affair. While there were no goals in the first 45 minutes, it could have easily been different if it wasn’t for both goalkeepers.

The best chance of the half fell to Evan Garnett. The Dynamo striker received the ball in the box with his back to goal and expertly turned and shot but the Coleshill keeper managed to superbly tip the shot over the bar.

The second half was very similar and as the clock ticked down the game could have gone either way.

Loughborough took the lead on the hour mark when Charlie Young did really well to get the ball into Ollie Clark on the edge of the box.

Clark was able to unleash a powerful curling effort that beat the Coleshill keeper to make it 1-0.

But Coleshill were pushing desperately to get back into the game and had a shot in the 74th minute that was goal bound after being goalkeeper Lewis King. But defender Callum Cocks was back on the line and clearly punched the ball out to prevent the goal.

The referee sent off Callum Cocks and Kai Tonge converted the penalty to make it 1-1.

After going a man down it was always going to be tough and Dynamo were hit with a sucker punch when Chris Lait made it 2-1 with a low shot inside the box.

As Dynamo’s ten men pushed forward for a late equaliser, gaps opened up at the back and George Washbourne secured the win for the hosts with a injury time third goal which leaves Dynamo still looking for their first away win since October.
