Loughborough Dynamo battled hard for a point in a goalless draw away at Spalding.
It was a low quality game with very few chances for either team as both sides struggled to get to grips with the bobbly pitch that made passing incredibly difficult.
Dynamo came into the game knowing they’d have to work hard to keep the home side out with Spalding still pushing hard in the title race and they did their job well.
There was also a debut for new Loughborough Dynamo signing George Ball who joined from Daventry Town in the week.
Spalding had the better of the first half with Stefan Broccoli firing a free kick from 25 yards just over the bar.
The hosts best chance of the game came on the half hour mark as Danny Draper cut into the box and his shot was well saved.
Spalding grew more and more frustrated as they struggled to break Dynamo down and as they pushed forward, gaps appeared for Dynamo to break.
Halfway through the second half, Eddie Bamfo was through on goal for Dynamo but his lobbed effort hit the bar and the game finished 0-0.
