A late injury time goal from Tendai Daire saw Loughborough Dynamo lose their lead in their first home league game of the new season.
Dynamo were ahead twice in the game through first half goals from Jack Gibson but both times they took the lead they were thwarted by Daire meaning both they and Hinckley LRFC took home a point.
The result leaves The Moes still chasing for their first win of the season in all competitions and will be hoping that their form changes in their next game at Boldmere St Michaels.
Loughborough started the game strongly as would be expected in their first league game in front of their own supporters and they could have had an early lead as George Ball and Alex Marshall went close early on.
And the Moes went ahead midway through the first half when the Hinckley goalkeeper flapped at an in swinging corner and the ball fell to Jack Gibson who slotted home from close range.
Their lead was short lived though as Hinckley were level within ten minutes after Tendai Daire equalised for the away side. There could have been further trouble for The Moes if it was not for goalkeeper Lewis King who made a top save just before the equaliser.
Gibson was one of the highlights of pre-season for Loughborough Dynamo scoring seventh goals and he put Dynamo back in front before half time with his third league goal of the season with a real strikers finish.
The second half was a lot quieter than the first. Both teams pushed for more goals but struggled to create any clear-cut opportunities. On the odd occasion that either team did get forward they were thwarted by the opposition goalkeepers who were both in good form.
As the game ticked into eight minutes of injury time, Loughborough were close to seeing the game out and pick up their first win of the season. But in the 96th minute, Hinckley striker pounced on a sloppy defensive error to equalise for Hinckley leaving both teams with a point.
