Our take on Saturday’s home victory.

Loughborough Dynamo won their fourth game in a row as they beat Sutton Coldfield 4-2 at home.

Despite going behind in the opening ten minutes, some individual brilliance from Deen Master helped Loughborough towards a 3-1 half time lead before killing the game off in the second half.

One of the biggest talking points of the game was the performance of the referee. Despite neither side playing in a particularly aggressive manner, there were a staggering 13 yellow cards and one red card handed out.

The result sees Loughborough Dynamo extend their lead over 6th place to ten points with just 11 games to go.

The game started badly when they went 1-0 down to a deflected shot by Kyle Byrne after just two minutes.

For the first half an hour, Loughborough struggled to get going and having felt aggrieved by a couple of refereeing decisions struggled to put that behind them.

But just after the half hour mark they levelled through a moment of brilliance from Deen Master who spotted the keeper off his line from 35 yards and lobbed him.

Ten minutes later, David Chapman back heeled the ball towards goal as the ball dropped to him from a corner and the referee judged the ball had crossed the line and Dynamo were ahead.

Deen Master increased their lead on half time as he sat his defender down in the box and beat his man after an excellent ball across from George Ball.

Dynamo looked to put the game beyond doubt in the second half and they did that when Evan Garnett tapped the ball home from close range just ten minutes into the half.

Sutton Coldfield got a consolation goal with 20 minutes to go through Jack Burgess but their comeback was halted by the referee when he sent off Taylor Carter-Byrne a few minutes later.

Dynamo used their man advantage to see out the game and it finished 4-2.
