Following discussions with the club after yesterday’s game with Harborough Town, Brad and Lewis informed the club that our game with St Neots will be their final game in charge of the club.

Loughborough Dynamo Co-Chairmen Darren Rodgers and Ian Beech said: “We would like to thank Brad and Lewis for their hard work and commitment during their time in charge of the first team.

“Five years is an incredibly long time in non-league football, and so for Brad to have been with us that long is an incredible achievement. Brad has been a big part of the club during that time and has helped deliver some great times for the club.

“We will always be grateful to Brad for taking the reigns as manager in the way he did in October 2021 and we wish both him and Lewis the very best for the future.”

Having had a brief playing spell in 2014 with The Moes, Brad initially re-joined the club as assistant to Lee Attenborough in 2018 and has been with Dynamo ever since.

Munn was also part of the backroom staff that helped Dynamo to their joint-highest ever Step Four finish back in 2018/19, when the club finished in eighth place.

When manager Lee Attenborough departed in October 2021, Brad took over the reigns and brought in Lewis McGugan as his new assistant manager.

Having finished in a respectable 13th place in the league last season, Brad and Lewis were given the opportunity to continue leading the team this season and they have guided the Moes to mid table with an improved points tally and league position on last season.

Ahead of his final game, manager Brad Munn has said: “We would like to thank the club and the owners for giving us the opportunity to learn, grow and start our managerial career at Loughborough. We will always be thankful for this and have only ever wanted the best for the football club in the five years I have been here.

“We completely understand how hard it can be running a Step Four football club and our decision is one based off allowing the club to take a step back and make the important decisions to help the clubs eternal future.

“Thank you to everyone involved at the club. Volunteers, fans, and most importantly the players past and present.

We look forward to the next steps on our journey and want to see Dynamo progressing after us.”

Everyone at Loughborough Dynamo wants to wish Brad Munn and Lewis McGugan the best and we thank them for their time at the club and we are sure they will continue to have a great career in football.
