The Emirates FA Cup and Buildbase FA Trophy draws involving Loughborough Dynamo took place earlier today.

Loughborough Dynamo come in at the second level of The Emirates FA Cup, the Preliminary Round, and have a home draw, the winners of the Extra Preliminary Round tie between Bottesford Town and Radford will come to Loughborough on Bank Holiday Saturday, August 25th.

Bottesford are a Scunthorpe club and member of the Northern Counties East League Premier Division, one level below Dynamo. Radford are Nottingham based, and are two levels below Dynamo, playing in the East Midlands Counties League Premier League.

The Buildbase FA Trophy sees Dynamo face familiar opposition. In the Extra Preliminary Round Dynamo have a home tie against Market Drayton Town on Saturday September 29th. If Dynamo come through that tie then a trip to Leek Town awaits on Saturday October 13th.

Both Market Drayton and Leek were regular league opponents of Dynamo in recent years in the Evo-Stik League Division One South. With the restructuring this Summer, Leek and Market Drayton are now members of the new Division One West, with Dynamo in Division One East.

Should Dynamo face Leek then a familiar face will be on the Leek Coaching bench, as former Dynamo Manager Peter Ward is now a member of the Leek Coaching team.
Commenting on the draw, Peter Ward said “You couldn’t make this up. Obviously Dynamo have to beat Market Drayton first. If Dynamo do, then it will be a pleasure to host Lee and his squad”.
