Thorogood bagged 10 goals from midfield, including scoring in each of Dynamo’s last two games to end the 2018/19 campaign.
Dynamo manager Lee Attenborough is looking forward to working with Thorogood once again this season.
He said: “Like with Josh Riley, Luke [Thorogood] is someone I’ve managed for three years and have seen him progress as a player to step up the divisions.
“He has excellent technical ability as well as a good engine and again another huge asset to the squad.
“Luke can play a number of positions and still be one of the best and most consistent performers on the pitch. A great attitude and is an all round positive influence.
“He loves a 3rd man run in behind and is good for a few goals a season from midfield. I’m looking forward to working with Luke again.”
