Read what our management duo had to say after our 2-1 win away at Walsall Wood.

After our 2-1 away win at Walsall Wood, we spoke to our management team Tom Hayes and John Ramshaw.

Dynamo took the lead in the first minute through Evan Garnett and twenty minutes later, Garnett had doubled our lead from penalty spot.

Walsall Wood did get a goal back a few minutes later but Dynamo held out for the win.

The game was marred by a horrible injury for Dynamo player Jonny White who had to go to hospital and it was later confirmed that he had broken his leg.

This was the view of our management team after the game:

Question: We won 2-1 today at Walsall Wood. How do you feel the game went?

Tom Hayes: "I think the priority today when you're in a play off scrap and pitches are dodgy and it is hard to play, is to just try and get the three points.

"I think they tried to rough us up a little bit today but I think the boys stood up to it really well. In the first half in particular we were very good, the second half maybe not so much but we were just trying to grind out a result. The main thing we said to the lads is that there are a few teams who label us as a pretty team that play good football but you can rough them up, and we told them to stand up to them today and we did."

Question: We don't normally mention injuries but we have to mention Jonny White who went off with a particularly nasty injury today and wish him all the best?

John Ramshaw: "Absolutely. Jonny has been taken to hospital and we won't know the full extent of the injury until he has finished there. But it did look like a bad one. He was in a lot of pain and the paramedic who looked at him along with Toni Williams our Sports Therapist said it was a suspected break.

"All we can say is that we wish Jonny White the best and we will support him in his recovery."

Question: There was a lot of emotion in the game today, but the lads did well to control the game and see it out towards the end.

Tom Hayes: "Yeah 100%. That is what we said at half time. They came with a purpose and a game plan to rough us up and put us off our game. The main thing today was to stick to our game plan and not react to the opposition players or the crowd or anything, just get on with the task at hand and full credit to the lads they did that and I can't fault them at all.

Question: This was the first of three games this week. How much of an opportunity does this week give us in terms of getting more points on the board?

John Ramshaw: "Every game is massive at this stage of the season. We are in the Play Off positions and to maintain that we need to be winning games home and away.

"I thought this was a very difficult game today, it is a difficult place to come too with an unforgiving playing surface and as Tom said against a rather physical opponent we stood up well to that and proved to people we won't be bullied and ground out another three points.

"The game on Tuesday night and the game on Saturday are both important and it is important that we do the same as today and impose ourselves and our ability and stand up to the opposition."
